TRANSFORM AND ESCAPE THE DOGS BY JAMIE HOLMAN, BRITISH TEXTILE BIENNIAL 2019
TYPE OF EVENT: SCREENING
PARTNER: SUPER SLOW WAY
DATE: OCTOBER 2019

Artist Jamie Holman produced a series of works celebrating a history of radical gatherings where the working class youth of the north resisted, rejected and finally reclaimed the spaces that cotton made and then abandoned. The Exchange was the venue for an event called ‘The World’s First Western’ which included a screening of Kidnapping by Indians produced by Mitchell and Kenyon in 1899.
