A successful quick turnaround application to the Boost Team at Lancashire County Council has delivered a £5k Covid recovery grant to support the charity Re:Source to kickstart the development plans for The Exchange coming out of lockdown.
The funding has enabled the charity to commission brand new digital communication tools which will help to kick start our development plans and reconnect with the community. During March 2021, local specialist Jak Spedding provided spectacular new drone videography and new images for our website.
Talking about the job on his Facebook page, Jak said,
My job takes me to some pretty cool places! Today I’m flying in the amazing Exchange building in Blackburn. I remember queuing up here to watch The Phantom Menace when it was a cinema over 20 years ago so to be part of bringing it back to its former glory is pretty special!
