The full splendour of The Exchange is being witnessed for the first time, as close-up photos are released showing the beautiful architectural detail of the building. Drone photography funded by a grant from Boost; Lancashire’s Business Growth Hub shows the detail of the rose window. Rose window is often used as a generic term applied to a circular window, but is especially used for those found in Gothic cathedrals and churches. The architect, Brakespear was generally known for his work on ecclesiastical buildings but branched out into commercial and industrial buildings like The Exchange, using the Gothic style. The windows are divided into segments by stone mullions and tracery.
