The School of Advanced Studies, University of London brought their Being Human Festival to Blackburn with a performance of “Finding Mr Hart”.
This was the first day we were able to open our doors to the public for tours when they didn’t need to wear hard hats!
Originally on display earlier in the summer in Blackburn Cathedral as part of the inaugural National Festival of Making.
Local specialists, High Level Maintenance from Tockholes, removed some of the internal plasterwork and tiles in the space
We are proud to be a partner venue for the National Festival of Making, usually a two day event takes over the town with a unique celebration of UK making ‘from factory floor to the kitchen table’ which welcomes more than 40,000 visitors to Blackburn.
2016 was a momentous year for the town centre when stakeholders from all sectors came together in a united force of civic pride to champion Blackburn’s winning entry in the Great British High Street Awards.
